Campsite and Seasonal Caravan pitches
Longmeadow Farm is a small campsite, ideal for families and couples, open from Good Friday to 30th September. Situated in Shaldon, South Devon, with views of the river Teign and a short walk to Shaldon village with local amenities.
Nightly pitches are available for tents and motorhomes with electric hook-ups if required. A small number of hardstanding pitches are available for motorhomes with electric subject to availability. There are seasonal pitches for touring caravans from Easter to the end of September, please enquire for further details. Regrettably we cannot take touring caravans on a nightly basis.
The site provides a toilet and shower block, newly renovated in 2022. Separate Ladies and Gents facilities, as well as two Family/Unisex facilities.
In addition, a separate washing up area including use of a washing machine and shared fridge.
Dogs are welcome but strictly to be kept on a lead.
No pub, no shop, no club - just relaxing camping.

£5 per extra person per night (children up to 3 years free)

£3 per boat per night or £15 per week (pre booked only, subject to availability)
£2 per dog per night
Reduced rates for hikers and cyclists with small tents, no vehicle and no electricity

1)Pitches are available from 2pm on the day of arrival and should be vacated by 12noon on the day of departure. No arrivals after 9pm.
2)Booking is required in advance. A minimum deposit payment of £20 or a third of the value of the booking is required to secure the pitch, with balance payments payable one week prior to arrival. Deposit payments are non – refundable but may be transferrable to a future date subject to the pitch being re let.
3)A limited number of hard standing pitches are available for motorhomes on a first come first serve basis.
4)Vehicles must remain on allocated pitches and vehicle movements kept to a minimum. Due to the sloping ground near the toilet block please do not drive to the toilets or park in this area. No commercial vehicles allowed on site.
5)Visitors should remain in the camping field and not enter any other fields. Children should always be kept under strict supervision at all times when on the site and away from the driveway and farm buildings.
6)Dogs strictly to be kept on a lead, under control whilst on the site and not left unattended. A dog exercise area is provided adjacent to the site. Please use the dog waste bin provided.
7)All vehicles and cycles must be driven slowly on the premises. Please be mindful of children and animals on site. Noise to be kept to an acceptable minimum especially after 10pm.
8)No flying of kites due to overhead cables.
9)Please do not use hose pipes or leave taps running.
10)Enclosed barbeque units are allowed but not open fires. Please keep BBQ’s off the ground to not burn the grass.
11)All caravans, boats, cars etc are parked at owners risk and the owners will not accept liability in respect of any person or the property of any person using the premises however caused or sustained.
12)The right is reserved to refuse admittance or to terminate the visit of persons whose conduct is unacceptable at the discretion of the owners of Longmeadow Farm with payment being non-refundable.
