Self Catering Accommodation

Here at the farm we have three self-catering units, all enjoy views of the surrounding countryside and are well equipped for your break with us, whether it is for the farm, the sea or moor!


All accommodation has use of a lawn and patio area, with seating and BBQ. There is ample parking for vehicles and a boat or trailer can be accommodated on request. All units are non-smoking and we regret that we cannot accept pets. 


Bed linen and towels are provided, and travel cot and highchair are available on request. Keys are left at your accommodation for your arrival, with check in from 4pm on the day of arrival.

Sleeps 4. One double bedroom, one twin bedroom
The Cob Barn is a newly converted two storey detached barn adjacent to the Old Piggery. The ground floor has an open plan kitchen, living, diner, twin bedroom and separate shower room. Upstairs is a double bedroom with en-suite bathroom.
Sleeps 2. One double bedroom. (Plus sofa bed in living area)
The Old Piggery is a newly converted single storey detached barn adjacent to the Cob Barn. Located on the ground floor is an open plan kitchen, living and dining area and one double bedroom with en-suite shower room.
OYSTER MEADOW IS NO LONGER AVAILABLE FOR 2024!! 

It has been replaced by a newly renovated cottage of equal capacity, available throughout 2024!! 

Sleeps 6. 

Oyster Meadow adjoins the main farmhouse and has been newly renovated in 2020. The ground floor has open plan kitchen, living, diner, sun lounge and shower room. Upstairs are three bedrooms consisting of one double, one triple and one single along with a family bathroom. 

Children will love the farm animals which include sheep, a kunekune pig, miniature Shetland ponies, chickens and goats. Wander the narrow streets of Shaldon, Smuggler’s Cove beach, play a round of pitch and putt or have a bite to eat in one of the many pubs. Shaldon is located on the South West Coastal Path, a 630-mile journey with beautiful views, allowing walkers to enjoy any part of the route. Both Dartmoor National Park and Exeter are only 20 minutes’ drive away, whilst the famous south Devon coast, with wonderful sandy beaches, is 1 mile away.

Exeter and Newton Abbot racecourses, several golf courses, lots of family theme parks, Paignton Zoo, sailing and fishing can all be found within easy reach. Numerous National Trust properties are close by, including Agatha Christie’s Greenway. Steam trains travel from Kingswear to Paignton, and Totnes to Buckfastleigh. Visit historic Dartmouth, with its bustling boat harbour and a castle, or Salcombe with its beaches and sailing. Kent’s Cavern, Model Village and Shaldon Zoo, and of course many tea shops, all serving Devon cream teas, can be found within easy reach. You can enjoy water sports, horse riding, golf and nature reserves, all close by. Take a trip from Torquay harbour to Brixham by boat, or visit the theatre in Torquay.
